Description

I wanted to capture the solitude and isolation the mountain hare experience living in their mountain habitat in harsh winter conditions.  I was photographing in snow blizzards so it was perfect to show this hare in white out conditions.  The little section of grasses shows how difficult it is for them to get access to their food due to the heavy fall of snow.
