APRIL 2019

Leveret in Evening Light

The weather in April was a challenge for the wildlife, one minute it was high temperatures the next they had to contend with snow.  Sadly ground nesting birds did not fare well at all.  Hopefully they will try for a second brood.  Thankfully the mountain hare leverets have done better, this little one was looking about for some heather amongst the stones and would scrape at the stones to get to it.  The sun was low in the sky and I love how the light has caught its eye.
