Snow Storm at Luskentyre Beach

I finally managed a return visit to Harris at a time that was not planned.  I arrived to snow blizzards, which had covered the surrounding hillsides and the beaches with snow as well as making road conditions challenging .  At times the conditions were pleasant and in fact good enough one day that I did not need a jacket. This image was typical of this time of year with a storm passing through and followed by stunning light. The snow cover beach could pass for pristine white sand.
