Catching Dinner

The stonechats are hard working parents. The pair I was following earlier in the year successfully reared chicks. They went on to have a second brood.   I was following this male tirelessly chasing insects.  From different bushes and perches. I could not believe my luck at capturing this image. The action was all over in a split second. The chicks never got this feed and the male quickly devoured it.
