Resting in the Autumnal Forest

Description

I was walking through the forest looking out compositions to capture the stunning autumn colours of the beach and birch trees.  When I heard the familiar noise of a red squirrel scurrying about the trees.  As I was standing with a 12-40mm lens in my hand I thought no chance I will get an image of it.  Although I was carrying my 40-150mm I did not think I had time to change lenses.  It had not noticed me and it had stopped to take a rest in the tree tops.  So I thought how close would it allow me to get to capture it in it’s beautiful forest habitat.
