Description

Quinag boasts three separate Corbett summits – Sàil Ghorm, Sàil Gharbh and Spidean Coinich. Quinag presents a formidable sight with its two huge buttresses of Sàil Gharbh and Sàil Ghorm dominating the skyline.

Normally I drive past this location on my way to Handa Island, near Scourie for the seabirds and I am always in awe of this breathtaking location.  As this was taken in February I was not up to see the seabirds but finally was able to capture this beautiful vista and with a dusting of snow and the low soft winter light hitting the foreground, it was just perfect.
