Carpet of autumnal colour
Each year, I dedicate at least a week to capturing the mesmerising autumn colors, striving to hit that perfect peak. It’s a gamble—arrive too early, and the leaves haven’t fully transformed; arrive too late, and they might be scattered by the wind. But this year, I believe I timed it just right.
There are several spots I revisit every autumn, always aiming to surpass my previous year’s images with better lighting or improved compositions. One particular location never fails to inspire me. I spend hours exploring its various corners, constantly seeking new perspectives. This small forest boasts a stunning diversity of trees, including Sweet Chestnut, Beech, Rowan, Silver Birch, and Oak. Walking through the forest feels like stepping on a vibrant, colorful carpet laid out by nature itself.
No doubt, I’ll be back next autumn, ready to capture more of its breathtaking beauty.
