Devil’s Point

Cairngorms National Park, Scotland

Description

I absolutely adore this viewpoint and it always takes my breath away when I see it and this day was no acceptation.  There was sufficient snow about and stunning cloud formations.  In order to get this angle I was in a slightly precarious position on the slope but I am always prepared and assess the situation and never take unnecessarily risks for a photo.  Crampons were required to ensure my footing was safe, then it was a case of positioning myself for the best composition.  With the bright conditions and white puffy clouds I knew would be perfect for mono.
