Crested Tit Winter Sunset

I have photographed  the crested tit over many years at a number of locations but one shot that has eluded me was capturing the bird against a warm sunset.  

On this occasion the crested tit was making appearances very late in the afternoon, I kept my fingers crossed that the clouds would part to allow the setting sun break through.

When the crested tit landed on the tree, I had to act fast and focus on capturing the shot as the light was fading fast.  All the years patience and perseverance had paid off and I was very happy at capturing this image.
