Gannets and Sea Pinks

Troup Head, East Coast, Scotland

Description

I am always looking for a different composition to take at Troup Head.  I really wanted to incorporate the sea pinks as they were in full bloom on this particular visit and gave a real splash of colour.  As I was walking along the path I saw the line of sea pinks and gannets leading down the cliffs into the sea and I knew straight away this was the image I wanted to capture.  It is in a precarious spot so great care must be taken when visiting this location.
