Cairngorms National Park, Scotland


This image clearly shows how vulnerable the mountain hare is in winter time with no snow on the hills.  It is light up like a beacon in the landscape to it’s predators.  So great care must be taken not to disturb them unnecessarily making them more vulnerable to predation.
