Grumpy neighbours
The gannet fiercely protects it’s small territory on the cliff ledge. Battles constanly break out and I have witnessed blood being shed with their sharp bill or if the intruder persists and gets too close it will tackle the bird off the cliff altogether. A bird not to be messed with.
