Crepuscular Rays

Inverness-Shire, Scotland

Description

Taken in the summers months, I normally get eaten alive with the midges with the abundance of heather in this location.  Thankfully there was a brief respite as the wind picked up enough to disperse them.  I was waiting patiently for the sun to break through the clouds and I was not disappointed.  I just adore crepuscular rays there is something otherworldly about them.
